The band's concert program promises a musical journey to the warmest corners of the planet: from the Spanish mountains to the Caucasus, from the Pyrenees to the hot Balkans. The band defines their sound briefly and succinctly: «Balkan drive and Eastern rhythms». Exquisite instrumental melodies and enchanting vocals weave into a single colorful ornament, like the patterns on a Persian carpet.
The Neizvestny Kompozitor is a winner of the international Russian World Music Awards and ranks among the top ten ethnic bands in Russia according to several authoritative charts with an international jury. The musicians have performed more than once with the legendary Goran Bregović and Emir Kusturica.
The soloist of the band Sona Dunoyan is a participant of the popular TV shows «Golos» and «Nu-ka, vse vmeste!». Her soulful voice combined with a rich instrumental palette (violin, saxophone, accordion, flute, guitar, bass guitar, and drums) creates a rich sound where each note creates a story.
The band is famous for their vibrant and energetic performances that blur the boundaries between the stage and the audience. The artists will present a program full of drive, sunshine and genuine world music at the «WORLD of Siberia».
