A duo that could only be born at the «WORLD of Siberia». They come from different worlds but speak the same language - the language of music. For the first time, the «Creole queen» Morgan Ji and the «master of light» GURUDE will perform on the main stage of the festival with a joint program. Their collaboration will be a unique project created exclusively for the guests of the «WORLD of Siberia».
Morgan Ji is a singer from the distant island of Réunion, whose voice has been called a «phenomenon» by the British press. Her music blends African rhythms, French charm, rock energy, and Creole motifs. Each of her songs is filled with sunshine, passion and freedom. Perhaps this is what has made her one of the favorite performers at the festival.
Ruslan Ivakin performs under the stage name GURUDE. He is a singer, composer and poet who has conquered the best stages of dozens of countries around the world. His creative work is a tight intertwining of reality and mysticism, the sound of authentic instruments and the throat singing with electronic music.
What happens when a shamanic tambourine meets an African banjo, and the melodies of the Russian steppe expanses clash with African rhythms? The answer is only here, on the main stage of the WORLD. Ruslan Ivakin has written new compositions specifically for this performance. The audience will hear not only beloved hits in unexpected duo versions, but also the world premieres of the songs.
