The «WORLD of Siberia» reveals the star cast of participants for the musical program!

The guests of the XXII International Festival of World Music and Crafts «WORLD of Siberia» can look forward to four musical evenings from July 9 to 12, 2026.

Representatives from seven countries will perform in the small village of Shushenskoye in the South of the Krasnoyarsk Region. The geography of the headliners covers the Balkans, the Caucasus, the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe and China. Anyone can attend the concerts of these world ethno-scene stars - the admission to all festival venues is free of charge.

The festival's opening day will present Slavic fairy tales and Middle Eastern funk to the guests on July 9th. The Armenian motifs reimagined through rock and funk arrangements will be performed by the band JAN-e-JAN (Armenia, Russia). The bright voice of soloist Nelly Mardoyan and the guitar effects of Karen Arutyunyan will create a multi-layered sound at the junction of trip-hop and progressive rock.

They will be joined by the Sochi duo «Beloluna», whose music is woven from the sounds of sea noise, mountain winds and Slavic chants. Electronic eclecticism combined with live instruments and vibrant brass solos makes it perfect for dancing under the starry sky.

The Moscow project Zventa Sventana, the long-time friends of the festival, will perform with their signature blend of avant-garde and folk on Friday, July 10th. The team of Tina Kuznetsova and Yuri Usachev performed at the «WORLD of Siberia» in 2022 and called this event «one of the most grandiose concerts in our lives!». Get ready to relive the incredible atmosphere of Russian folk songs with the background of house, dubstep and drum and bass.

The ethno-rock band ielele (Moldova, Russia) will perform on the Main Stage of the WORLD on the same evening. The name of the band refers to Romanian folklore. Ielele are forest spirits and protectors of nature who love to dance and sing. The band's music is a shamanic cocktail of Moldovan ballads, energetic guitar riffs and powerful vocals - it envelops in mystique, erases boundaries, and builds bridges between cultures and people.

The baton will then be passed to Neizvestny Kompozitor (Russia, Armenia). The band is famous for its vibrant and energetic performances that blur the boundaries between the stage and the audience. The soloist Sona Dunoyan is a participant of the TV shows «Golos» and «Nu-ka, vse vmeste!». The band's concert program promises a musical journey to the warmest corners of the planet with their amazing music and songs: from the Spanish mountains to the Caucasus, from the Pyrenees to the hot Balkans.

The musicians from China will show their talent to the guests on Saturday, July 11th. The band Mabang (which translates as «Caravan») describes their musical style as a blend of folk, rock and reggae. Their music brings to life South Chinese dialects and the breath of ancient instruments: from the bamboo flute and the ocarina to the erhu and the sanxian.

The «Cengi Etno Caz» ensemble, a living legend of the Azerbaijani ethno-scene, will perform this year in the Shushenskoye village. More than 30 years of creativity, hundreds of concerts, and countless tours around the world and in Russia, where they are always warmly welcomed. Their hallmark is jazz-mugham - a unique synthesis of Azerbaijani folklore and jazz improvisation. The traditional instruments reveal themselves in a way you haven't heard them before in the hands of virtuosos.

One of the main surprises of the festival will be the premiere of a joint program by Morgane Ji (France) and Gurude (Russia). This is an experiment that could only be born at the «WORLD of Siberia»! The «Creole queen» and the «Master of light» will not just perform together, they will create a live dialogue of cultures, where there are no boundaries, only pure musical magic. The audience will hear not only beloved hits, but also new compositions, written specifically for this star duo.

The Bashkortostan musical trio AY YOLA will perform on the final day of the festival on July 12th. The project combines ancient imagery and traditional instruments with modern electronics, blending powerful throat singing with gentle female vocals. Each song of the band sounds like a separate chapter of a great narrative, where the heroes, the forces of light and darkness, the memory and the precepts of ancestors come to life.

The DJ set by Qaraqoom (Uzbekistan) will close the program of the Main Stage. Our friends from Tashkent transform the folklore of ancient Khorezm into dance tracks. The ancient melodies of the ancestors sound with the background of organic house, progressive and techno, and the rhythms pulsate with the fiery heart of the East.

We recommend that guests arrive at the stadium, where the Main Stage of the festival is located, in advance in order to avoid queues at the security screening and to get to the concert of their favorite performers on time.
