The 18th International Festival of World Music and Crafts "WORLD of Siberia", which was held from July 7 to 10, 2022, has completed its work. According to official data, sixty-six and a half thousand guests visited the festival during the four days. This is an absolute record in the entire history of the WORLD of Siberia festival, exceeding the maximum figures of previous years by two times.

Tourists from Vladivostok, Anadyr, Volgograd, Khabarovsk, Sochi, Riga, Belgrade, Helsinki, London and dozens of other cities of the world met in the center of Siberia. The organizers, together with the general partner of the festival, the Aeroflot Russian Airlines, found out who had come the longest way to the main stage of the WORLD of Siberia festival. The best folklore musicians and craftsmen of Russia competed for the main prize - a cup cast made of bronze and brass.

I only gave two low marks. I look at those who participated two, three, four years ago and wonder why they are not headliners? - Inna Zhelannaya, member of the jury of the “MIRA” World Music Award Competition.

As a result, the jury chaired by Sergei Starostin unanimously awarded the “MIRA” World Music Award to the Folk Song and Dance Ensemble “Ulug-Khem”, the female vocal group from the Republic of Tyva.

The Grand Prix of the “MIRA” Craft Award Competition was won by Valentina Beldy from the village of Dzhari, Khabarovsk region. The craftswoman conquered the experts with traditional Nanai costumes made of fish skin.

The duet of Polina Dmitrieva and Nikita Razhev from Moscow received a special prize at the “MIRA” World Music Award Competition.
In addition to the competition program, more than 20 hectares of interactive activities awaited the guests of the festival. At the same time, mini-performances, concerts, lectures, master classes were held at ten venues - in total about 200 events that anyone could attend.
