A five-kilogram bowl as the Grand Prix and an impressive prize fund are persuasive arguments to take part in the WORLD of Siberia Festival competition program

Application submission campaign of the International Festival of World Music and Crafts “WORLD of Siberia” has already been announced. If you are the one who popularizes folk culture and has not decided to submit your application to the festival directorate yet, we have at least seven reasons, why it is worth doing before the end of March.

Prestige. The WORLD of Siberia Festival is the largest world music festival in Siberia and one of the most significant international festivals in Russia. The event is carried out under the patronage of UNESCO. You have a great chance to represent your talent and creativity to dozens of media and thousands of viewers all over the planet! It happened that some of the winners of the World Music Competition have been chosen by the festival directorate as the headliners of the next festivals. Festival guests who were fond of crafts had a chance to purchase the best craftsmen’s works.  

WORLD Jury. The festival jury are recognized figures of art and culture, distinguished educators, enthusiastic folk culture and crafts researchers with wide experience. Their opinion is highly respected among folk culture experts. Only such high level experts are able to assess participants’ technique and skills.

Fair Judgment. To judge impartially and objectively is a cardinal rule of the festival jury. Fair judgment does not assume underestimation and indulgences. Band leaders are welcome to communicate with experts in person and get professional recommendations after the competition is finished.

Experience exchange. Participation in the competition is an exciting experience that gives an impulse for new achievements and development of art skills. The event is a platform of inspiration, impressive acting, creative improvisation and experts’ guidance. All of these allow you to explore your hidden talents.

No competition entry fee. The WORLD of Siberia Festival is a nonprofit event. The festival is held with the aim of preserving and developing of folk culture. Thus the festival directorate does not charge any fees. Moreover, the festival organizers cover meals and accommodation expenses for the main round participants.

Prize fund. More than 300 challengers are awarded with certificates annually. Best performers and craftsmen are invited to Shushenskoye, where the festival jury choose special prize winners, laureates, creative competitions winners according to their performances’ results. The Grand Prix of the World Music Competition and the Crafts Competition is the “Bowl of the WORLD”. It is a Slavonic stylized wine bowl, cast in bronze and brass (5 kg). Prize money is a pleasant addition to titles and the “Bowl of the WORLD” for all main round participants.
